Neon Sign Restoration

Old neon signs are part of Los Angeles. We restore vintage and landmark signs: repairing or replacing glass neon tubes, refinishing letters and cabinets, and repairing the structure that holds them up. This is traditional glass neon work, which is different from the LED “neon-style” signs sold elsewhere.

Installation & permits

Working on landmark signs

Restoration work can involve rooftop access, cranes or lifts, and in some cases the property owner or a historic review. We plan the access and the steps with you before work starts.

Why choose this sign

  • Keeps an original sign working instead of replacing it
  • Glass neon handled as glass neon - not swapped for LED without your say
  • Paint, metal and structure handled by the same team
  • Experience on large rooftop signs

Questions

Neon Restoration FAQ

Is this the same as LED neon?

No. This page is about traditional glass neon. If you prefer an LED neon-style sign, ask us and we will explain the differences.

Can you restore a sign that has been off for years?

Often, yes. We inspect it first and tell you what can be repaired and what needs to be remade.

Do you repair neon in business signs too?

Artwork & photos that help us quote

  • Your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) if you have it - a clear PNG or JPG is fine to start.
  • A straight-on photo of the wall, window, vehicle or site where the sign will go.
  • Rough measurements of the space, and any size limits from your landlord or city.
  • Brand colours (Pantone or hex codes) if you know them.

Have a neon sign that needs restoring?

Tell us about your location and we will follow up with options and a written estimate.
